The issue started with installing of the 15.10 iso, as downloaded from
the Ubuntu servers, I believe it's a version of 4. 2. 0. kernel. The
last update that had the same problem was 4.2.0-21-lowlatency. Now I
have installed the latest kernel, 4.4.0. as you suggested, and the
problem is solved, thank you.
The only problem, that the Terminal report about during the installing
of the new kernel, is this:
"W: Possible missing firmware /lib/firmware/i915/skl_guc_ver4.bin for
module i915"

Bug description:
Ubuntu 15.10 hangs on shutdown with both generic and lowlatency kernels. In
order to shutdown without forcing by pressing long on the laptop button, I need
to restart, and then to shutdown, and then the shutdown takes more than a
minute, which isn't the case with 14.04 which shutdowns in just few seconds.
This happens with both fresh install and updated system.
