Title: Function brightness keys do not change brightness. Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: This is occurring on a Lenovo y510p machine running Ubuntu 15.10. My machine has a double Nvidia GT750M setup, running the latest Nvidia tested drivers (352.41) I have read that installing the nvidiabl driver might help but I wasn't able to succeed installing https://github.com/guillaumezin/nvidiabl in my system. I have attempted editing GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub to "quiet splash acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor" with no success. I have also attempted adding Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1" to my nvidia xorg config file with no success. I managed a workaround solution by mapping keyboard shortcuts to the commands xbacklight -inc 5 and xbacklight -dec 5.
