Public bug reported: CID: 201501-16351 Dell Inspiron 5758
The touchscreen area will only change vertically along with the screen resolution change but not horizontally. For example, if it's in 4:3 mode on this 16:9 laptop, the desktop will be surrounded by blank areas, however, the touchscreen wasn't reflect this change horizontally, you still need to click on the upper left corner for the dash, instead of where the launcher icon is. Steps: 1. Install 14.04.3 + update + nvidia driver 2. Change the resolution to 1400x1050 3. Test the touchscreen Expected result: * Touchscreen area changes with the resolution change. Actual result: * Touchscreen area didn't change with the resolution change correctly. The vertical location is correct, but the horizontal location is not.
