using a Surface Pro 1, I have tested with Linux Mint 64-bit 17.2 Rafaela as well, Cinnamon and Xfce variants, with no lock ups or odd behavior, other than bluetooth and my mouse seemed to lose touch after the mouse slept, but could be a mouse issue(razer orochi 2013).
