That didn't work for me either (chili555's method). Got the same result as Nicolas above. Tried dave's instructions in comment 276 and it worked! Also I tried everything in here on fedora 22 but I couldn't get make to work. I think I got this one time: make: *** No rule to make target 'install'. then I gave up and installed ubuntu 15.10 and it worked. Might be worth to note I'm a complete linux noob.
