Christopher, I tried Live CD Kubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu GNOME 15.04 and Debian 8.2 with Gnome. Artifacts are present in Ubuntu 15.04 and Ubuntu GNOME 15.04. Gnome3 in Debian 8.2 displayed correctly.
