Otherwise the Internet connection is not established. The problem is present in kernel versions 3.13.0-45 and 3.19.0-031900. However, xubuntu 12.04 works fine. Expected to happen: The computer should establish the Internet connection automatically. Steps to reproduce the bug: Plug the USB modem into the computer and switch the computer on. I use Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS.
