Bug description:
Binary package hint: xorg
Hello, I am using a Gateway NV5927U laptop and the screen brightness
is unchangeable via the keyboard controls. The brightness is stuck at
100% and changing values inside of /proc/acpi/video/GFX0 have no
effect on the brightness. Please let me know what else you may need.
If the brightness is changed inside of Microsoft Windows it will
visually stay dim until GDM starts, at this point the screen raises to
full brightness and is locked at that state.
