I can use Ctrl-Alt-Bsp to kill the instance of FF, but this re-occurs now every time I start to use FF. Could this be a problem with kernel handling of Nvidia graphics? I have older 8600 graphics. Other sytem attributes: AMD64x2 w 4GB ram, 1TB Hard drive, Viewsonic LED 1080p, 24inch. Again, no problems with this system until a few days ago when I upgraded to latest kernel. I always install all system updates as soon as I receive notice. Any way to get back to older kernel? No previous kernel updates caused any problems! Thx.
