Hello, any suggestion? It is still a very annoying bug, especially for Network and Hardware engineers.
I have tested the latest 4.2 Kernel but it is still not working. I use USB to Serial adapter to console in specific devices. With the previous version of Kubuntu 14.10 it used to work just fine. When I try to open my USB serial minicom or putty opens correctly but I don't see any output on the screen. If I try to input something I see nothing on the terminal. The USB device is correctly recognized k@kubuntu:~$ lsusb | grep USB-Ser Bus 001 Device 008: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC k@kubuntu:~$ dmesg | grep USB0 [ 994.909767] usb 1-1.1: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0 I double check speed on the port hardware control and flow control, bit stop..etc etc. Everything is correct. If I use the same USB to serial cable on 14.10 it works perfectly.
