Title:
Kernel panic on boot at least since version 3.13.0-59-generic (Ubuntu)

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Since I have updated Ubuntu 14.04 the newer kernel versions can't be used to
boot, so GRUB 2 always has to boot an kernel version ...-57
...-61 is also not running, the versions between were never installed.
Because I can not start the computer with the defect kernels, I don't have a
possibility to report with 'ubuntu-bug linux'.
