Christopher, I don't care that the proprietary driver doesn't work because the free one seems to be working perfectly.
This bug does not affect me. Blessings, Shahar -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1030503 Title: 14e4:4315 No wifi (BCM4312) with proprietary driver Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Interface is not created. Wifi worked perfectly in precise and also in quantal until some recent upgrades. It was discovered that the proprietary driver was in use. This seems to have nothing to do with kernels. Once the proprietary driver was removed - the Wifi was fine.
