I _think_ I'm also having the same bug on my iMac 8,1, but I can't check the screenshot since it's asking me to log in. Anyway, I'm attaching a screenshot of what my screen looks like after resume.
There are flashing/crawling green dots all over the screen, also on the console screens and the shutdown screen.
