The 3.19.0-8.8 is now 3.19.1 based. Can folks running Vivid test this kernel to confirm the bug is fixed in Vivid? You should be able to just apply the latest updates.
For Utopic, we may want to perform a kernel bisect to identify the specific commit that caused this regression. @NoOp, do you know that last good 3.16 kernel that did not have this bug and the first 3.16 kernel version that did?
