When I click suspend, the black console screen flashes with something like "Some devices failed to suspend", and "Device 0000:04:00.0 failed to suspend async: error -5", and some more error info but I don't know how to get it into a log file. Update: I just found out it worked again this morning, but a couple of hours later it was broken again. I suspect it's just really unstable. Update: It only appears after I opened LibreOffice, when I restart the computer there is no problem, but after starting LibreOffice, I can't suspend anymore. I am using oracle-java-7. I don't know but probably it is not the linux-kernel but pm-utils, java, or LibreOffice, it seems a software problem. My laptop is an Asus N56-VZ. --- ApportVersion: 2.9.2-0ubuntu8 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: steven 2232 F.... pulseaudio CRDA: country BE: (2402 - 2482 @ 40), (N/A, 20) (5170 - 5250 @ 40), (N/A, 20) (5250 - 5330 @ 40), (N/A, 20), DFS (5490 - 5710 @ 40), (N/A, 27), DFS DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=099313ad-92b7-4954-8935-dc24a403d638 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-02-15 (74 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Release amd64 (20121017.5) MachineType: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
