I rebooted and chose the 3.8.0-27 kernel, then both usb memories were detected. I rebooted and chose the 3.8.0-29 kernel again, then both usb memories were *not* detected. I rebooted and chose the 3.8.0-27 kernel, then both usb memories were detected.
