Bug ID: 497645 Summary: Creating an Etesync resource does nothing, appears to fail Classification: Frameworks and Libraries Product: Akonadi Version: unspecified Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Etesync resource Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: mail...@reboot.moe CC: c...@carlschwan.eu, shashwat.jo...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Creating an Etesync resource works in none of the applications that use Akonadi (I think). I tried this with Merkuro Calendar, Zanshin, and KOrganiser, and I get the same behaviour every time. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Zanshin 2. Go to Settings => Configure zanshin 3. Click on Add resource 4. Select Etesync Groupware Resource and click OK OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens. If I close and open Zanshin again, I can see in the settings it added an Etesync resource, but "Unable to start" is written next to it. EXPECTED RESULT I'm prompted to enter my credentials.
