Hi all, I hope this mail finds the person who releases the Windows binaries.
Just a small nitpick: The standalone version of kdenlive v24.05.0 has been released at https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/24.05/windows/kdnelive-24.05.0_standalone.exe . Notice the spelling error of kdenlive. Unfortunately, this breaks the auto-update of package managers like scoop (see manifest definition at https://github.com/ScoopInstaller/Extras/blob/01df1ba1f63d05a2df6b13ee9ee4d2482010888e/bucket/kdenlive.json#L22 ). I could submit a fix to scoop, but since this is a genuine, albeit non-critical, error at the kdenlive side, I thought it's best to report it here and request a renaming of the file to correct the spelling. Please let me know if this is feasible. A lot of people would benefit from this. thanks Francois Botha
