Okay Zeke, a good start, but it has only been 7 hours and you have so far 1 answer, which is also rather non-committal. That is not enough. Also, who is going to handle things from the KDE side? I don't see any of Kdenlive's core team here, and understandably so: developing and maintaining Kdenlive is already full-time job, and in a recent email exchange I read, core Kdenlive devs explained they were only able to dedicate 5 to 10 hours a week to Kdenlive as it is. It would be unfair to burden them with a massive side-task like this and naïve to expect them to pick up the slack just because. So, back to the original question: I am looking some of you folks (Zeke, Mehdi and Narcis) up on invent.kde.org and have been unable to find significant contributions to any of KDE's projects. So let's hear how each of you envision you contributing to make this move reality. Go! Cheers Paul P.S.: Note that I would like this to happen. But I would *REALLY* like this to happen, and not have instead it bungled and have a bunch of angry people on both sides because they wasted time on a poorly planned task. -- Promotion & Communication www: http://kde.org Mastodon: https://mastodon.technology/@kde Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kde/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/kdecommunity LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/kde
