Kdenlive 18.12.1

I have sound and video But no thumbnail of the sound wave form. I am 
running Kdenlive in Mint 19.1 I am getting a error reading audio thumb 
nail. Any body know how to fix this??  Thanks for any help, Douglas Pollard
