Time lines not wide enough

I some how reduced my time lines to about 1/8the of an in wide and spent 
a couple hours trying to get them back to a normal size can someone tell 
me how to do that. The best I could do was to increase them to 1/4 inch 
just a wee bit small, 3/8 or 1/2 inch would be good.
