So I tried to install from kdenlive ppa stable on Kubuntu 17.10: same RAM issue as with appimage, 10G eaten for the nearly empty project. Adding a clip to the timeline send my 16G into burning trashing hell. Now that is really bad with a project in the pipeline...! Best regards,Harald
