We had this message posted in the website: "The link of the latest release (16.12.1-2) is broken. I have downloaded this version by altering the url, but this package throws a number of missing dependencies (MLT, frei0r) at me on launch, after which I can only abort. Version 16.12.0 didn’t do this."
