Hi, I like your ideas ... here some more suggestions:
- When having two clips in a row and moving one of the edge between, the other should adopt his position to prevent a gap between. Could be handled by holding a modifier key and drag the edge? - Snap to time ruler - Markers - Insert/delete tracks - An keyboard shortcut menue (/Settings/Shortcuts for example) to assign individual shortcuts. BTW - Did you both checked out the 'protux way' of doing similar things? ;-) greetings Reinhard Am Dienstag 03 Dezember 2002 09:23 nachmittags/abends schrieb Jason Wood: > Hi, > > Whilst I am working on all things GUI (undo, fixing the Menus and sorting > out the toolbars), I am trying to decide which tools I should implement on > the timeline. > > Implementation wise, adding a new tool is not a problem, so the question is > which operations should have their own tools, and which should be combined > with modifier keys (shift, ctrl, etc). > > So far, I have the following three tools in mind : > > Move/Resize tool > ============= > Standard took, the one that is currently implemented.
