Hi, The debug window now works, in that if kdenlive starts piave, it catches piave's stdout and stderr, and displays them in the debug window.
Kdenlive now starts piave with the -d switch, so you full debug output is provided. Currently, you can copy'npaste into a seperate window only, though I will add functionality to a) save it to a file, and b) turn it off all output at some point in the future. I don't intend to spend too much time on it however. I'm not sure how much memory this log window will end up taking up, but there's a good chance that it is a lot. Let me know if you run into any problems, and I'll add a limit to the numebr of lines it displays. For the moment, the debug window doesn't add anything much over running piave from the console, except for a little convenience. It will make more sense when kdenlive starts using multiple instances of piave (at least two, one for video output, one for background rendering). Let me know what you think.
