That's really strange ... try the following: - start piave - start kdenlive - !! don't move the slider !! - insert one clip to file list and then to the timeline - !! still don't move the silder !! - zoom to 2 or 5 Frame level. - move the clip in the timeline and make sure it starts at 0.00 - no move the slider in the timeline a few frames How far do you get doing exactly this? > > btw - couldn't it be helpful to notify the actual working status of piave > > inside the kdenlive app, since it will be startet by kdenlive > > automatically at startup? > > Yes, it would.
