I cannot reproduce the problem. This is probably an issue related to ffmpeg and mlt. Which version of kdenlive, mlt and ffmpeg are you using on the kubuntu machine (svn, packages) ? Since i am also on a Kubuntu edgy, I can try to reproduce your setup. What is the output of: ffmpeg -version regards jb
