Hi JB (and others), I created a "tutorial" showing the (powerful) possibilities of the PIP-transition (Picture In Picture). However, I did not use it as a transaction but as a video effect.
I saved the video on my own website http://www.harryvanderwolf.dyndns.org/kdenlive/. A full size .mpeg and .ogg and a reduced size .ogg. Please have a look and if you like it, feel free to put it on your tutorial page. One little bummer: the xvidcap package has a high load on my laptop, causing some minor "stutters" in the sound (and istanbul, asking lower system resources, refuses to run). kind regards, Harry jb wrote: > Hi everyone. > > Just wanted to let you know that I started a video tutorial section on > Kdenlive's web site, using theora files. > > You can watch it here: > http://kdenlive.sourceforge.net/tutorials.php > > Currently, there is a tutorial on transitions and another one on markers. > If anybody wants to do other ones, just send them to me & I will put them on > the page. > > I created them using xvidcap and then converting to ogg format using: > > ffmpeg2theora -F 10 -x 640 -y 480 -v 7 -a 3 test-0000.mpeg > > Not sure the Sourceforge web hosting will be good enough for the video > streaming though. > > regards > jb > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Using Tomcat but need to do more?
