The different wallpapers and different widgets per virtual desktop as
been dropped in favor of forcing people to use Activities. A real step
backward. Also time global formats are broken among lot of other little
stuff including the screen saver. I think KDE developers have been
infected by creeping Gnome simplification. Oh well I'm sticking to KDE 4
for as long as I can

Under previous version of KDE I was able to have each desktop display a
different wallpaper. Since installing (from DVD), OS 42.1 w/KDE 4.14 and
Plasma 5 that behavior doesn't seem possible.
Am I just missing something?
Also, why was the screen saver dropped in favor of screen locking with
display disabled?
Thanks, Tom
