I should add: a) I had problems with the Defaults button in at least one area of System Settings (probably two or more) long before the switch from 5 to 6, I probably never bothered to seek or make a FreeBSD or upstream bug report because 6 was on the horizon for FreeBSD ports b) no addon is outdated, according to Discover (there were difficulties with addon updates through Discover after I first switched to 6, it seems that things have improved) c) … right now I can't remember what the third thing was, sorry (I'm juggling multiple bugs at the moment).
