I'm 99% sure it is not a problem of Plasma defaults.
I suspect that screen locker on Linux does not go to sleep after 15 minutes of
inactivity.
We need to figure out what's causing the system to go to sleep.
As a workaround, you can set the hw.acpi.suspend_state=NONE sysctl.
