Hello. I noticed that you are using Kate version 23.08.5 in ports. In September 2024-09-13, a bug was fixed that created empty tabs and did not save when closing. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468573 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462523
In September it was fixed in version release/24.08. Can I ask you to update the port for Kate to 24.08.3 (7 November 2024) or later? I just don’t know how to do it, I’ll try to assemble it from the ports. Thank you.
