I installed i3, fumbled my way around, and the menus worked for me in strawberry and obs. Honestly, I was really hoping for failure so I could actually dig into this. Maybe it's because I'm using a touchpad on a laptop? The patch reverts a commit that was causing issues with mouse scrollwheel behavior and button mapping.
