It doesn't not need XDG_CONFIG_HOME, just a coponent is run and this component is just creating the root of XDG_CONFIG_HOME if it doesn't exists, but silently do nothing if it is not allowed to do so. best will be to fix that component to only do that if it plans to actually write into the XDG_CONFIG_HOME, but search what is exactly doing that is ... not something I want to do :) regards, Bapt
