OK, so it's time to play "let's take a look at Bugzilla instead of immediately saying it won't work" ;) By simply searching for the open Klipper reports, it was possible to see at least 3 duplicate reports about that problem (I've closed some of them), and by reading them it is possible to see there was another bug report about this problem which has already been marked as FIXED -- see bug 244620 [1]. There seem to be different issues involved here: the handling of that global shortcut is not directly handled by Klipper anymore, but by the systray code (for some reason, though, the option in Klipper's global shortcuts is still present). In the end, you need to right-click the system tray, go to System Tray Settings, click "entries" and assign the shortcut you want to Klipper. I believe whether this was a good decision or not is beyond the scope of this thread, as well as issues that might come up related to this change (the global shortcuts thing, or the need to reassign the key). But please consider looking things up before ranting about how nothing's going to solve your problem next time :) [1] https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244620 _______________________________________________ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information
