This is my laptop that I started with a clean disk, no OS, on Aug 5 and started my kde4 build on Aug. 8. I have nothing older and all the kde files have been rebuilt with portmaster -Fr in the last two days because of your and Martin Wilke's answers both recommending updates. I am pretty sure that nothing is out of date in addition to the fact that Area51 was never used with this machine but on a desktop at home. I am still experiencing the same error as above each time I try to compile. I am running: uname -a FreeBSD ed.local.net.mx 8.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT #8: Sat Aug 16 07:14:03 CDT 2008 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ENCONTACTO i386 World is up to date as are ports. This is an amd64 laptop but I am running i386 at this time. Any suggestions appreciated. I'm not building, yet again, portmaster -fR x11/kde4 and this is after having successfully completing portmaster -fR devel/qt4-corelib devel/qmake4 Thanks much for your help. ed _______________________________________________ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information
