Hi, I got your email from the FreshPorts page on KOffice. It appears that you have created a source port for KOffice 1.6.2. Are there any FreeBSD packages for this version?
I am running the most recent DesktopBSD beta, which based on FreeBSD 6.2. When I look at ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeDSB/ports/i386/packages-6.2-release/kde, KOffice 1.5.2 is the latest version there. I'd prefer a package for this 950 MHz, 256Mb i686 laptop. I tried to compile KOffice from source on it last summer and it took 6 or 8 hours :-) .
