Including the output of ls /var/db/pkg would have been a start. Guessing from the error message, there might be a couple of things going on here: - You might have stale files left in /usr/X11R6/share/qt/mkspecs - try removing that entire directory, if it exists. - You might be upgrading from a very old version of qt - 3.2.1 or earlier. If that is the case, manually pkg_delete the currently installed version qt first, then install it from scratch. - Your qmake installation might be incomplete. Try reinstalling the devel/qmake port.
