It's apparently an improvement for a synthetic benchmark but I've seen too many examples where similar off-the-charts differences in a simple benchmark were completely unnoticeable IRL. The gains might be crucial in realtime applications (but who would use KDW there...), in other cases it might be as underwhelming as the memory overhead that comes with it.
