kdeinit5 is the one who needs to see that QT_PLUGIN_PATH in order to locate
kio_file.so.
<cd builddir>
$ export QT_PLUGIN_PATH=$PWD/bin
$ kdeinit5
$ kioclient5 openProperties ~/.bashrc
