It doesn't use the 2010 version of ItemViews-NG. To quote from Peter's blog: "So the new view-engine for Dolphin 2.0 is build on a (very) modified subset of Itemviews-NG." As long as we work on it, it will not bit rot. (The situation might be different for QGraphics* though).
