It took a week to get sound going after installation (ubuntu linux).
Now after a distribution upgrade all my DEVICES disappeared again.
*This page is TOTALLY useless when the OS can't find the devices and all
it sees is dummy.*
I need to know how to probe for the sound rather than how to select
which device gets used.
Intel I5 with inchip sound and video.
