I don't think this is related to the problem I recently posted about problems with warnings about missing info in the man page docbook and inconsistent error messages trying to add those sections. However, I just discovered it at the same time.
When I run my newly compiled program (KMyMoney) and call up the manual, I have two problems. First, the links at the bottom of each page (to the previous and next pages) are not present. Second, since the links are missing, I try to navigate with the contents tree in the left pane. For each chapter, there is an appropriate item in the tree, under which is an item for each <sect1> in the chapter. However, for the first <sect1> in each chapter, if I click the link in the tree, I get an error such as "Could not find filename what-is-kmymoney.html in file:///usr/share/doc/kde/html/en//kmymoney/what-is-kmymoney.html." This is from the id in the first sect1 for that chapter, and the contents of that section are displayed fine if I click on the chapter name, rather than the first section. Now - I just discovered this in KHelpCenter 4.6.4, KDE 4.6.4, under ArchLinux. But, I went to check it out on my other machine, running Gentoo, with KHelpCenter 4.6.3, KDE 4.6.3, and it has the same problem (with the official release of KMyMoney 4.5.3.) So - the problem is not new - but it certainly is disconcerting. (The prev/netx page links are present in the 4.6.3 version.) Are these bugs in KHelpCenter (in which case do I just report it to b.k.o?) or is there a problem with the structure of my docbooks? Thanks for any enlightenment. Jack
