Hi MMR, you're best to start by contributing to KDE outwith GSoC.  That
means installing Linux and Plasma and using all the KDE apps.  You'll
quickly find apps that need improvements and you can help with those if you
have the basics of Qt and C++ knowledge first.  Then you can consider any
GSoC proposals but we're unlikely to want to mentor projects from someone
who doesn't use KDE software or is already part of the contributor
community.  A full name in your e-mail will also make you come over more
easily.
