Thanks for your willingness to respond to my question.

I would have reported this as a bug but was NOT sure that it was a bug. 
Nevertheless, I apologize for asking the wrong mailinglistgroup.

Your command did work but when I add the "-h" flag to konsole it says NOTHING 
about X11 flags... And there is NO man page.

Hi George,

I'm also using Fedora 31, and what you mentioned works for me, for
example "konsole -geometry 300x300+100+100" opens the window at the
specified position.
