For that required information is available in README file http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=plasma-mediacenter.git&a=blob&h=55a0315922025d12f22d720f5c06776116d3b8f5&hb=7e972198cf2b55f9b14befdd8a9c0c84a32f4b39&f=README One of the dependency of plasma-mediacenter is KDE Frameworks 5. You can either build it from source or use pre-built binary packages for it. Once you build plasma-mediacenter from source and get it running here are some of the open bugs for the plasma-mediacenter, https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?cmdtype=runnamed&namedcmd=plasma-mediacenter bugs some of them are marked as junior jobs which are easy to fix. For example : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346406 If you require any help use the IRC or this mailing list to get help. I am available on #plasma and #kde-devel channel on Freenode network.
