I'd probably in actual code conflict cases, but in this case, I rather bet on the
"had seen comment before", because I assume every developer sees the scripty
commits every now and then when looking into the log.
The idea would be
"ah, shit! conflict.
grblhsfdvwhatkindalanguageisthis???
wait! there's a comment about i18n resolution in the logs:
let's have a closer look.... AHHH!" ;-)
