It seems things didn't change so far. We just got a request on the kate mailing list from a guy who is writing a kate highlighting xml file. He right now relies on the info of http://kate-editor.org/2005/03/24/writing-a-syntax-highlighting-file/ which dates back to 2005. Now in the last 10 years the highlighting system was extended quite a lot, such that we really would like to have an up-to-date version of the Kate handbook online somewhere. If docs.kde.org cannot maintain several versions, then we could put a copy of the Kate handbook from KDE 4.14 on kate-editor.org. Does someone have a 4.14 copy? If so, please send it to me as archive. Also, I cannot access any Kate5 handbook, so lots of resources for Kate are currently not available. Is there some plan to get this running again? Thanks! :-) Dominik >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
