Good morning

Here is the summary with the extracted and condensed opinions:
- Aleix: KF5 based apps asap
- Inge: 4.15 and asap KF5, no LTS, Parley for 4.15
- CoLa: 4.14 as LTS, beneath KF5port, individual decision of the app developer
when to switch
- Christoph: 4.14 LTS (flexibel with strings e.g. Baloo, gradually port to Qt5
(QtQuick1, kdelibs4support, etc.)
- Roney: agrees with CoLa about individual decision and mentions the GSoC
about porting KDE Games to KF5
- Albert: agress with Cola as well and wants to leave the decisions with the
groups to port in an interval between 0 and 12 month
-- KDE Applications 2014.12 (Qt4/KDE Platform 4 and KF5 based apps): app
developers decide when they want to port, limit where we accepts KDE Platform
4 based apps (Kevin: +1)
-- No SC in KF5-land! (different schedules),
-- Coordinated KDE Applications releases?!? All discussions about this
apps/KF5 are interconnected
- tosky: GSoC features?, ask each apps maintainer about features for 4.14 and
further?
- Frank: prefers coordinated apps releases, release is much work (=> thus
automation), no large break between 4 and 5 based apps

My conclusion of this is:
- 4.14 is LTS with a relaxed string and feature freeze (though ask before you
do) like KDE 3.5.10 (or what it was).
- Towards the end of 2014 we can start to release KDE applications based on
KDE Platform 4 and based on KF5 together and decide then next year how we do
KF5based application releases in the future and which modules and Co.
- Definitely end Qt4/Platform 4 based releases in August 2015 (when Plasma LTS
ends) from the KDE side

Please speak up if you don't like this/want this otherwise I'll write an email
with these conclusions at the end of next week.

And as the "Proposal One: KDE (Core) Apps and Suites" thread on kde-community
is interconnected to the above I attempt a summary of it in the next hours.

Best regards
Mario
