Here's what I propose: almost all of the new code should use Qt or not be accepted into KDE's core applications. Inclusions: - GUI code - new features - much of the backend code Exemptions: - bug fixes - code without similar analogs (for now) I'm sure there plenty of people that object to this effort altogether but if the community is serious about this effort then serious efforts have to be made. Also, Qt news some maintainers and developers to keep some features in Qt.
